The Gardall WMS912-G-K is a fireproof safe with a 2" flange. This flange goes around the outside of the safe and helps finish the wall safe install. This safe is not designed to be bolted to the studs like traditional . The flange is bolted to the safe. Because of the heavy weight, a platform needs to be built behind the wall underneath this safe. The WMS912-G-K is then bolted to the platform using an anchor bolt through the anchor hole in the middle of the safe.
