i would buy this another time. You was fast getting it to meI bought this jewelry box for myself because I loved that i was so small and compact. There were more than one color to choose from so I chose purple. I love purple :) there seemed to be a lot of space for the jewelry that I owned. I currently owned a very large jewelry box that was handed down to me from my mother. Much too big for my needs. Since purchasing this jewelry box, i have been able to store alot of what I own in it. (and then some) Here is what I think of this jewelry box.PROS+ Has 4 drawers to store items in.+ Includes a small travel box. it holds a good amount of stuff for what it is and for the size. ( i was ablt to bring it with em on vacation fo ra week with no issues of it opening on me)+ Comes with a lock and a key to secure your jewelry+ Has a cute little mirror in the top to help see what you are putting on+ Has space for many rings. ( I currently have over 15 stored)+ Both opening sides hold necklaces. The way the pouches hold the hanging necklaces is great at preventing tangles)+ When the whole unit is all closed up, it doesn't really stand out as looking like a jewelry box. It blends in nicely with my decor. also the carrying handle has been very secure and I have has no issues with it ( i have owned this over a year now).I have considered purchasing one of these for my daughter (who is now 7) I have also recommended it to 2 people. Although it is a bit pricey, I haven't yet to find a similar jewelry box for any cheaper.Therefore making this box a great find.CONS- The high price tag almost deterred me from purchasing this- For what you pay, I was hoping the material it was made out of would have been some thing a bit more solid.Overall this is a great little jewelry box. the price is a bit steep for what it is. But considering I love the one I have currently, if i ever needed another one, I would buy a matching one. (same product). It is small and compact and can easily be stored. The locking mechanism isn't anything more than a "diary" type lock but it still does the trick. I face such hardships between an attentive husband who keeps providing me with pretty earrings and sparkly bracelets at random calendar dates. I mean, I can't wear them all at once and leaving them lying around in the open like art pieces or hanging them off my wine glass as is popular was getting a bit perplexing with so many choices. I knew there was a problem when our mischievous cat was using a garnet chandelier earring as a diversion from his premium-grade feather toy.A very nice feature are the many drawers and compact shape that closes up, reminded as I was of one of my mother's beloved jewelry boxes. The folding front and side doors do such a fine job of making it look like I stack black faux-leather boxes on my armoire instead of heaps of gems in a tangle of chains. No longer does the cat careen over the edge in a pile of jewelry when he jumps up where he should not be. The husband appreciates this. The drawers, however, aren't very deep or long. There are two or three dividers at best, wide enough for a necklace or a narrow bracelet. My longer pieces used to lasso the unsuspecting have to be coiled up or hung from the interior pegs on the side doors, the majority hanging in the provided velvet pouch. So it's not very suitable for long necklaces or earrings.The hooks on the doors are okay for shepherd-hook earrings, but they are limited in number and require some fiddling to settle down. A quick trick is to use the plastic backers that come with most mid-range glittery pieces to help secure them. Otherwise assign a servant to reorganize them at your leisure. Larger hands may find placing them difficult. I suppose if you travel with studs and cufflinks, you should be good. Cuff bracelets or substantial pieces are really beyond the spaces except the deep square occupied by the small travel case.For a permanent receptacle for jewelry, it really needs another six inches for length and depth at minimum. The box works fantastic for a confined space and the locking mechanism on the front panel is quite solid and holding the lid and side panels together. A good buy, with a handsome appearance, but I still need something larger for the pile of fine accessories still awaiting a spot.I love this jewelry box and was very disappointed I had to return it because it was a little taller than the description and didn't fit where I wanted to keep it. Let me start by saying I have a lot of earrings of all shapes and sizes. I also have several "sets" of matching earrings, necklaces and bracelets. I have tried several different ways of organizing them but they all seem to fall short of my needs. When the jewelry box arrived I was so excited. I started organizing and putting jewelry in it almost immediately. First of all, I only gave the box a 4 star rating because the small travel case that sets inside the jewelry box seems a waste of wonderful space. It hardly holds any jewelry and wouldn't be that great to have on long trips which means more jewelry containers. My preference (we travel by vehicle and camper) would be to take the entire jewelry box. With that said, I would have prefered that the space where the "travel" box is be extended for additional earrings, small compartments or ring holders. Just my humble opinion. The side panels that open are great for delicate hanging necklaces, although I have had to hang more than one on a hook. The side panels for hanging necklaces has a pocket and it is great BUT it would have been better made of a clear material so that you could see the entire necklace so you would know which necklace is on each hook. For longer necklaces or beaded necklaces I had to use the drawers. There is lots of storage space and little compartments. It is quite boxy and cumbersome, so needs some space around it to open up. Also arrived at a decent time, and came well packaged. Overall, I am very happy with it.my wife loved it and it’s her handy box for all her day to day jewellery. so purpose served definitely. what else u need other than a happy wife.. ?lovely colour and fit all my jewelery, nice to have a travel box also which comes with this.
