Very good wx-proof box. Only drawback was the way it was shipped with no internal packing. Unit arrived on time, but had cracks in the lid due to rough handling which had to be sealed before it was put into duty.I just bought my second one. I bought the first in 2003 (so... 18 years ago? Wow!) for a deployment to Iraq. That first one went to two wars and lives in my backyard otherwise. Now it holds all my grilling gear. The second one also lives outside and holds workout gear - jump ropes, ab mat, boxing gloves, bands, etc.Completely waterproof and withstands mid-atlantic weather with ease. I sit on it when I'm tired, stand on it to see over the fence, kick it when I'm mad, shove/drag it around when I need to clean the patio, and generally abuse it without a second thought. It doesn't care. It faithfully holds my gear, keeps everything dry and does whatever I ask of it. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.I wasn't sure if these were even available. Most truck boxes I looked at were several hundred dollars and many weren't as rugged as this. Mine finally broke after 15 years. I broke mine by forcing the cover a little too much backward. Even after I used it like that for 2 years. It's appropriately durable and rugged. You can probably get better but I'm not sure a better "box for your buck" exists out there.I ordered this portable tool box and it arrived with the lid cracked due to shipping abuse. I returned it and they sent me a replacement very quickly. Great customer service! I now have three of these boxes and I use them for tools, camping gear and firewood which I mount them on the back of my motorhome on a hitch deck. They are tough and no water gets inside. One of them I have had for at least 20 years with no problems.I use these to hold large canvas tents for medieval camping in the SCA, and I can't say enough about these boxes. They are extremely durable, and water-tight, and haven't had any issue with UV exposure making them brittle like so many other tubs and storage crates. The bonus with these are that they are very flat on top, and I use the 4 of them that I have as very sturdy benches in the evening. Husky and Stanley have a similar capacity trunk that has wheels, and a handle. I have tried those, and keep coming back to this style. These stack easier, and are easier to pack. This is money well spent. I actually prefer the version without a lock, since it's clear that the locking version would not keep a serious thief away.This is my third box I've purchased over the years. The oldest one is almost 20 years old and has held up perfectly. I see very few differences between my oldest one and this new one. Same rugged construction, and never a drop of water inside.Highly recommended!Love it! Super fast delivery. Fits my tool bucket and all my dusty tile tools that I don't want in the cab of my truck but also don't want them to get wet in the back. Sits perfectly just above the height of my truck. I lock it shut and run a cable lock threw it and to my truck to prevent theft. First day I had it it got heavy rained on it for a hole night. Next day it was still bone dry on the inside. Highly recommend for anyone who works out of there truck but doesn't want a big bulky tool box. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.I thought this would be perfrect, but sadly it did not fit the space i bought it for. Lenghth and height were fine, but with the lid open, it was 1 or 2 inches too deep. So...I had to return it. Delivery was quicker than i expected, the quality was great, and the response time for my return request was much faster than i expected. I would definitely buy from this seller again!
