This lockbox will allow emergency entry if needed.As a property manager I'm renovating several homes at the same time, I can leave a key in the lockboxes for the various contractors to go in and work. I just text them the combination. I no longer need to give out several keys, and then try to keep track of who has which one. When the home is finished, I can then change the com for showing the home. They are very sturdy and handy to use. I highly recommend them.I like the key lock box because if I forget my house key no worries, an extra one is hanging on my front door,I just have to put in a code that I made up. I don't know if it's waterproof beacuse it hasn't gotten wet. it seems well protected though.This is exactly what I needed for my spare key. After readjusting the location, have had no problems. Setting the code was easy. As a person who grew up a latch key kid, this would have been perfect in the 80s!I like it but price is highLiving alone in an apartment with a self locking door I had locked myself out too many times to count. I had had enough of having to call the apartment staff at inopportune times to come help me break into my own apartment and was looking into options, someone suggested to me to get a lock box. At first I thought it was too expensive but when you look at it's durability and structure it's definitely worth it.I did have some trouble initially getting the top hook to open so I get it onto my door knob but once it was in place I haven't had any issues. The space inside is a little limited (I think only 2-3 keys would fit inside) but it is sufficient for me. The code is easily able to be entered and I never have any issues with getting the compartment opened. This would be a great option for Airbnbs/vacation homes etc! Highly recommendIt works fine, but I wish the number wheels were easier to read. They are shiny chrome with embossed numbers so in dim light they can be hard to read clearly.These are good quality lock boxes
