I just received my safe. I had no problem opening it the very first time. I think the company should rethink putting the instructions and keys inside the box in case someone has trouble getting there's open. Instructions are very easy to understand. I reset my new combination with no trouble. My problem is the cable/handle does not release and hasn't since the initial opening, regardless if I use the combination or the keys. The top opens every time, but cable/handle will not even when I pull it while turning the lock to the right. I finally located a silver button that will release the handle. I think it going to be perfect for taking to the beach!This is a great product and stores a good bit of phones/sunglasses. The item locks great it is an is easy to lock and unlock but I would make sure that you secured this safe to something heavy that a thief could not pick up and run away with. This product shows you locking it to your beach umbrella. Yes it will look to your beach umbrella but that wouldn’t stop the thief from just picking up the beach umbrella and running off with your safe and your stuff. Also it’s very easy for electronic devices to overheat because the safe does not have vents to let your electronics breathe and not overheat. If you’re gonna use this for short-term use then this product is great but if you’re storing electronics for a long period of time then they will overheat and become damaged.Great for beach trip or outside sport need lock something close by… not made of metal box but good enough plastic box still need check on it. Not a lock box for gun or leave out for days without check on it…Nice compact design. Capable of changing passwords infinite amount of times. Easy to useI love this!! I can leave all of my personal belongings behind and not worry about them getting stolen.I received my SAFEGO portable lock box. I have checked it out pretty good and set the combination. It was very simple to set up. It is made of a rugged plastic type material. I believe it would be pretty hard to break into it. I would more or less use it for "security in plain sight". I'm sure if someone has enough time and proper tools it can be gotten into. So I would probably leave it locked in a fairly public place for 2 or 3 hours and in a place where other people could see if someone was trying to force it open. I would be reluctant to store anything of high value in it for extended periods of time. It's Not a Safe, just a Secure Deterrent. However, having said that, the Lock Box should serve me well and I will use it in my luggage on trips.So glad I found this. I ride my ebike to the beach to surf but need to take my phone, sunglasses and AirPods with me. I needed something to secure them while I surf and this is perfect. Great solutionI needed a small lock box for my elder Mom who moved into an assisted living. This is perfect. It is the right size for her check book and credit cards. These were worrying her that they weren't locked up. I put in the closet, and it is very easy to reach and unlock. Easy to grab the item and remove without taking off the closet pole.I would imagine if someone wanted it or the items inside, it wouldn't be hard to dismantle. But it would take a minute and in the minute someone would notice.I highly recommend for a deterrent or in my case, a worry-free lock box.My Mom at 91 could operate this lock box.
