Our 93 year old mother is getting home health visits by nurses after a bad fall. We couldn't drop everything every time they needed access. So my husband bought this after seeing real estate people using them. We gave the code to the home health agency. The nurses now come and go as they need to and we don't have to drop everything to sit by for 30 minutes to an hour while they do their thing. It gives us peace of mind as people check on her all during the day and we can work plus take care of our grandchildren without the constant interruption. I'm a school teacher and my husband works for the county government across the river. There is absolutely no way we can be there without an hour notice. So this has really helped and is worth every penny.After slipping and falling in the shower on the first day of a week's long vacation I realized that living alone, if something happens to me at home where I am seriously injured or even die no one would "miss me" in a situation like this until I was scheduled to return to work.I wasn't seriously hurt this time when I slipped and fell, it did take me several minutes to get myself up and out of the tub.Had I needed assistance at that time and was able to get to my phone, someone would have to break in to assist me.With this now even if I have to have emergency service called to assist I can give them the code to get the key to open the locks instead of them having to break in through a window or door.This was easy to set up and install, I liked the fact that it's a keypad and the code can pretty much be anything and is easy to set and change with the included small tool. I gave the code to several friends and would even use this for someone house sitting for me to check on my dog and make sure everything is okay while I'm away.I have been my HOA’s Board President since 2002. These lockboxes have given me countless hours back over the years - time I didn’t need to be present for leaving keys out for vendors, new owners or tenants, or emergency keys for residents who have locked themselves out. I have even left checks in these for people to pick up, because I know they are secure if I leave them in these lockboxes. I have never had to replace one - they never fail, & they have been placed on exterior gates & exposed to California weather 24/7. Changing the code is super easy too. A reliable purchase!!Super easy to use. The instructions are very simple and well explained. The key holder can hold more than 2 keys. I purchased two already and will probly buy another!I could not find my other lock box and we had a tenant that’s moving in the next day and this came that same day after I ordered it. Can’t believe it came same day. Will definitely order again.We have 2 of these. One is years old and in the weather every day and still works exactly as designed. When I needed another for a different location, this was my go-to. The only complaint is the little key hook inside. It falls out and is just gone because it is so small. Your best bet is to go ahead and throw it away. I think the manufacturer could improve this product with a stationary hook but otherwise I highly recommend this box.The gate to my backyard is locked 24/7 because I have an inground pool... it's an insurance thing. I have to allow landscapers, maintenance and pool people in the backyard to take care of business and this lockbox is a Godsend because they can let themselves in.Simple and easy to use! These are great for realtorsvery bad quality lock. I locked my spare house key inside, someone smashed the front panel with a brick. You can see from the photo that the front panel is actually very thin. Now i have to spend more than 100 to replace the door lock. Don't get it!!!!I ordered this product a few months ago for my parents. The product that I received was robust and looks very safe, and they were very happy with it.So I decided to get one for me when I have my guests around, and here comes the surprise, the second Master Lock I received looks very cheap and not safe at all.My first lock come sealed and properly packaged the second one was not only without a package but with some scratches on the side.My second lock is not robust as my first order, the shackle is losing and shacking, it does not stand still on the lock body. Looks that it can break any time. Definitely I will not use my master lock because it’s not safe or trustable and it's easier to break.The protective cover is plastic, not solid zinc.I do not recommend to buy from this seller because it is not consistent and you might not get the product described here as happened to me.Solidly built, weighty and plenty of room for keys. Easy to use and great for storing keys when you want to go surfing, beach or anywhere you don’t want your electronic keys to get wet. Fixed securely underneath our van. Very pleased with this product.Purchased this to securely store keys whilst paddle boarding. Very sturdy as you would from Masterlock so no concerns about security. Enough room for one small set of keys. Only given three stars though because it's actually quite fiddly to attach the key safe to the towbar without the door opening and the keys falling out each time.They have resolved the "code on packaging and delivery packaging issues" it arrives with the hasp around a large "button".Simply look on back for sticker, unlock to remove from button. No cable ties used anymore.Works fine, cant see it being weatherproof as nothing seals around the metal just a plastic flap over dials, but it will stand the odd shower whilst under the car whilst I'm out on the water.Very heavy but thats why its quite secure. Easy to use dials on code lock.
